OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19

We are open!

Kawishiwi Lodge will continue to practice Physical Distancing and follow Minnesota Department of Health Lodging Establishment Cleaning Guidance for COVID-19. https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/lodgingcleaning.pdf

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all our workers. To ensure that, we have developed a Preparedness Plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Managers and workers are all responsible for implementing this plan.

Please respect your neighbor and physically distance yourselves from other guests’ parties on the beach, main pier, hiking trails or any commonly used areas.

Guests will be asked to provide their own pillows and blankets. Beds will have freshly laundered mattress pads, fitted and flat sheets.

Life Jackets and other PFDs can be checked out upon request. When possible, please bring your own.

Purchase your fishing license online, prior to your arrival.

And here is a handy guide to getting a fishing permit in any state: https://tacklevillage.com/how-much-is-a-fishing-license-in-each-state/

The sauna and lodge store will be CLOSED.

Thank you for understanding, with proper care and attention to your needs we will be looking forward to providing you with the same great service you expect and deserve from your wilderness hosts. Be well friends, see you soon.
